The Malham Cylindrical 5kW Woodburning Stove in Soapstone – exclusive to Leeds Stove Centre.

We’re proud to introduce the Malham Cylindrical Woodburning Stove – Soapstone, part of our own exclusive stove range at Leeds Stove Centre.

After years of supplying and installing wood burning stoves, we wanted to offer our customers something of our own: a contemporary stove with the appearance and features normally associated with considerably more expensive models, but at a much more accessible price.

At just £1,295, the Malham combines natural soapstone, a striking cylindrical design, a large curved viewing window and a 5kW heat output.

We think it represents exceptional value for money for anyone looking for a contemporary soapstone wood burning stove.

Why We Introduced the Malham

We see hundreds of different wood burning stoves, and contemporary cylindrical models with stone finishes can command premium prices.

We wanted to offer something different.

The aim with the Malham was to combine the contemporary styling people love with the performance and features we expect from a modern wood burner — while keeping the price extremely competitive.

The result is a stove we’re proud to put the Leeds Stove Centre name behind.

Natural Soapstone

One of the standout features of the Malham is its natural soapstone.

The stove features a substantial 30mm soapstone top and 50mm soapstone side panels, creating a premium finish that immediately distinguishes it from a standard steel stove.

Because soapstone is a natural material, variations in its colour, pattern and markings help give each stove its own individual character.

Soapstone can also absorb heat while the stove is burning before gradually releasing that warmth back into the room.

A Stunning View of the Fire

The Malham has been designed around the view of the flames.

Its large curved glass window works perfectly with the cylindrical body of the stove, giving you an impressive view of the fire and creating a real focal point in the room.

Below the firebox is an integrated log storage area, completing the tall contemporary appearance while providing a practical place for storing logs.

Whether the fire is burning or not, the Malham is designed to make an impact.

5kW – Ideal for Many UK Homes

The Malham has a nominal 5kW heat output, making it suitable for many typical UK living rooms.

It combines a steel body with a cast-iron door, while the cylindrical design gives it a much more contemporary appearance than a conventional square wood burner.

The Malham is also EcoDesign compliant and DEFRA approved, making it an excellent choice for customers looking for a modern wood burning stove.

Premium Looks Without the Premium Price

This is one of the biggest reasons we introduced the Malham.

Contemporary cylindrical stoves finished with natural stone can cost considerably more from premium stove manufacturers.

Malham Cylindrical Woodburning Stove – Soapstone: £1,295

At £1,295, we’ve worked hard to make the Malham extremely competitively priced while still giving it the features and appearance customers want from a premium contemporary stove.

If you love the Scandinavian-style cylindrical look but don’t necessarily want to spend several thousand pounds on the stove itself, the Malham is well worth seeing in person.
