The Carron 4.7kW stove has a top mounting for the flue pipe and no additional room ventilation is needed for this stove.
Practicalities matter, and the external riddling handle means that the ash residues on the grate can be riddled down on to the ash pan whilst the door remains closed, then removed afterwards - less dust!
The stove is lined with traditional firebricks to give maximum heat protection to the external cast shell.
The secondary air inlet vent above the door introduces an additional stream of warm air that causes unburnt gases to ignite.
